A series of bodybuilding tournaments called “EURO ELITE TOUR” (EET) started in 2006 by the EBFF.
The TOUR includes about a dozen of events to be held in the different European towns and countries. The TOUR events will comprise of one open category of men elite bodybuilding champions.
Competitors will be awarded prize money. For each tournament the total prize money will be EUR 10 000 to EUR 15 000.
These are invitational events. The line-up of minimum 15 participants will be composed of the host country athletes and athletes from the other countries. Each invited athlete will be provided with free accommodation (hotel room and three meals per day) for two days and EUR 300 to reimburse his cost of travel (only for foreign athletes, minimum 8 persons).
Competitors who are not invited by the promoter may participate in each event; however they will have to cover all of their own expenses.
All participating competitors must be members in good standings of their National Federation.
Bodybuilders who currently are not members of their National Federations will have to apply for the membership first. They should provide their personal data, the history of their competitive career two passport-type photos and few stage photos from their latest appearance. They should declare if they want to participate in the spring events (May - June) or in the autumn events (October – December).
Each competitor will have to pay their annual license fee of EUR 100 for each calendar year to the EBFF.
Minimum guarantied prize money distribution:
1st place: EUR 3 000
2nd place: EUR 1 500
3rd place: EUR 1 000
4th place: EUR 800
5th place EUR 700
Places 6th to 10th: EUR 400
Places 11th to 15th: EUR 200
Each TOUR event will be judged by seven highly qualified EBFF international judges: two from the host country and five from other countries plus chief judge and chief statistician. Foreign judges will be paid EUR 300 to cover their costs of trip.
All European National Federations are requested to prepare a list of its national bodybuilders who want to participate in this TOUR. These lists should be sent to the EBFF headquarter till April 1st of each year.
After receiving the list of competitors nominated to this TOUR by National Federations, The EET Management Committee, in cooperation with the local organizers, will issue invitations. Then the list of competitors for each event will be announced.
Each competitor intended to participate in the EET TOUR may also participate in all EBFF amateur events.
