ASIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

On the occasion of the 46th Asian Championships which were held 1-4 June
2012, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, IFBB President Rafael Santonja accompanied by
William Tierney, IFBB General Secretary and Ulugbek Mahmudov, UzBFF
President, paid a visit to the office of the Uzbekistan Olympic Committee to
meet with the Minister of Sport Mr Jasur Akramov, and the President of the
UzOC Mr Malik Babaev. The meeting was very relaxed and in a friendly
atmosphere.
The Ministry of Sport and the National Olympic Committee fully supported the
organisation of the Asian Championships, which was a great success.
