í WITHOUT rest during the competitive season,
Mexico City hosted, from July 27th to 29th, the 45th
edition of the Central American & Caribbean Championship,
organized by the Mexican Federation (FMFF), chaired by
Mr. Francisco Cabezas, with the support of the Caribbean
Confederation (CACBBFF) and the official sports authorities
of Mexico.
The event, which offered points to the 2018 World
Ranking, was held in conjunction with the annual CACBBFF
Congress, where Mr. Giovanni Arendsz (Aruba) was re-
elected as President, with Marco Cabezas (Mexico) as
General Secretary. This historic weekend for Bodybuilding
and Fitness in Central America was attended by President
Santonja, along with other prominent IFBB Executives as
Vice-President for Central America, Mr. Eduardo Abdalah.
