The Bodyfitness Women’s Classes were of
excellent quality, with the Japanese Misaki
Otani standing out at 158 cm, the Finnish Jenny
Karjalainen demonstrating that her country is a
power in women’s disciplines, and in Bodyfitness
in particular, winning up to 163. The also Finnish
Mira Oh was gold and Overall champion in
Bodyfitness. In the tall class of more than 168 cm,
it was the Ukrainian Yevheniia Prutskova who did
not have an easy time against the Finnish Meri
Pikkala.
Acrobatic Fitness disciplines are the specialty
of Slovakia and one more year this became very
clear. Tatiana Ondruskova took gold in up to 163
cm and Anna Miklova in over 163 cm, adding the
Overall title to her resume. In Artistic Fitness
the short class was won by the Hungarian Szofia
Bogdan, in the middle class it was the previous
world champion Eevi Seikkula (Finland) who won
again, both her class and the overall title, whereas
the Chinese Cao Miao won gold in the tall class. In
