PRESIDENT SANTONJA MEETS WITH PANAM SPORTS
SECRETARY GENERAL MS. JIMENA SALDAÑA DE AJA

l IFBB President Dr. Rafael Santonja had the pleasure of greeting once again
Ms. Jimena Saldaña de Aja, Secretary General of Panam Sports, during the
recent international sports meetings.
The friendly encounter reflected the excellent relationship and ongoing
collaboration between the International Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation
(IFBB) and Panam Sports, both sharing a common vision to promote the
values of sport, health, and fair play throughout the Americas.
President Santonja was accompanied by Mr. Eduardo Abdalah, IFBB Vice
President for Central America, and his Personal Assistant, Ms. Celia de la Rosa.
This meeting reaffirmed the mutual appreciation and close ties between
IFBB and Panam Sports, and the Federation’s continuous commitment to
contribute to the development of Fitness and Bodybuilding within the Pan-
American sport family.

l During the 3 World Sports Tourism Congress, held in

Madrid, President Santonja enjoyed a pleasant dinner with
Nasser Majali, former Secretary General of the Jordanian
Olympic Committee and current Secretary General of the
Islamic Solidarity Sports Association (ISSA). During the
dinner, they discussed new ways of collaboration between
both organizations and the development of a Memorandum
of Cooperation.
Nasser Majali and the President share a strong and lasting
relationship, seizing every opportunity when their paths
cross to spend time together, sharing ideas and experiences .
His dedication to sport and their vision for fostering solidarity
and cooperation make every meeting with him productive
and inspiring.
