Santa Susanna is a quiet and relaxing town, located
in the north of the Barcelona Coast, between Girona
and Barcelona, with a population of 3,650 inhabitants,
which has an exceptional location between the sea
and the mountains where residential, tourist and
agricultural areas coexist harmoniously. The vegetables
that are grown decorate the landscape and form a
mosaic of colours according to the season, which make
up the agricultural area located between the hotel
zone and the town centre.
The municipality stands out for its tourist offer,
being one of the most representative of Catalonia for
its number and quality of accommodation places,
with 15,647 accommodation places located near
almost 3 km of beach. From beaches with rocks
forming small coves, with a unique flora that we still
preserve and reserve, to beaches full of services and
nautical activities, and other more natural ones filled
with tranquillity and well-being. Furthermore, those
who visit our beaches can enjoy the newly renovated
promenade on foot or by bicycle, a seafront where the
re-naturalisation of spaces has been the priority.
Santa Susanna is a family destination par excellence,
recently distinguished by the Catalan Tourism Agency
as a “Hola familia!” destination, with large spaces
to enjoy the sea, nature and the outdoors with the
family and a quality hotel complex. Likewise, we value
