Department (ATDD) has hosted several prominent
sports events that not only engage the local
community but also draw international attention.
Among these are the annual Ajman Triathlon, which
has become a hallmark event, attracting athletes
worldwide to compete in (swimming, cycling &
running). Other events include cycling and running
along Ajman’s picturesque coastline. These events
strengthen Ajman’s stature as a hub for multi-sport
activities as the Ajman Duathlon, which is known for
its unique blend of cycling and running. The event
convenes athletes of all levels of expertise, signifying
the emirate’s inclusive approach and encouraging
community involvement in high-endurance sports.
In addition, the Ajman International Bodybuilding
Competition gained significant attention, which is
conducted to showcase the strength, resilience and
physical fitness of athletes. As one of the region’s
most anticipated bodybuilding events, it places the
emirate on the map for leading athletic contests,
drawing in competitors and enthusiasts alike. The
annual Ajman Cycling Race draws participants from
diverse age groups and nationalities, reflecting the
emirate’s commitment to inclusivity and community
