The beautiful village of Espinho (near Porto), offers a new edition of the Diamond Cup Portugal, coming next weekend 8th to 10th June, organized by the Portuguese Federation (PFBB) chaired by Mr. Vitor Reis.

The event, included in the 2018 World Ranking and rated as an Elite Pro Qualifier event, will be open to all the IFBB-affiliated national federations worldwide and, till the moment, athletes from 25 countries are already confirmed its participation.

The event will be held, at the “Nave Polivalente”, joining the Sport Fair “Expo Fitness” and the 1st. Elite Pro Championship celebrated in Portugal: the IFBB Elite Pro Portugal 2018. The Top 3 overall athletes in Bodybuilding, Classic Bodybuilding, Men´s Physique, Bikini, Bodyfitness and Wellness will receive the Elite Pro Card, besides the overall winner in Women’s Physique.

The Diamond Cup Espinho have the next tentative schedule:

Friday 8th June: Registration & Weight-In (from 10:00 t0 20:00), at Nave Polivalente.

Saturday 9th June: Prejudging & Finals (from 10:00 am) in all Fitness Divisions, at Nave Polivalente.

Sunday 10th June: Prejudging & Finals (from 10:00 am) in Bodybuilding & Classic, at Nave Polivalente.


We are immersed in a health international emergency as a consequence of the Covid-19 epidemic.

In this situation, we must follow the applicable national and international regulations and the advice from governments and sanitary authorities.

All this has to be done with positive energy and best spirit, maintaining our focus on the fact that any epidemical situation has expansion, stabilization and reduction periods, and that with adequate care, this nightmare is going to be a bad memory soon.

By all means, the integrity of our athletes, officials, judges and of all who integrate our community is now and always essential. We are a family in sport and life.

We can expect to reach the epidemic peak and a progressive settle down, as is already happening in some of the countries in suffering this situation at first instance.

In conclusion, let’s be confident and keep working as a team, following the decisions from the competent authorities. Some events have been canceled and others are being rescheduled to a new date in which we may be able to celebrate with our athletes and friends our passion for sport and healthy lifestyle.
