On March 27th, at the Costa Rican Olympic Committee HQ, the delegates of all the Central American Olympic Committees met to hold an Extraordinary General Assembly that aimed to elect the new President and Treasurer of the Central American Sports Organization. (ORDECA).
The President of the Olympic Committee of Nicaragua, Mag. Emmett Lang Salmerón, chaired the Assembly that, unanimously, elected Mr. Henry Nuñez -President of the Costa Rican Olympic Committee- as the new ORDECA President.
The new President thanked all the delegates for the support received to preside ORDECA during this period, summoning the Executive Committee to meet at its next Assembly in the city of Santa Tecla (El Salvador), host city of the 12th Central American Games 2021.
