First Day of Competition at the Grand Asian Championship in Ajman, United Arab Emirates

The impressive Emirates Halls Centre served as the opening venue for this prestigious event, offering a perfect blend of luxury and modernity. The occasion was attended by prominent local authorities, federation members, as well as presidents and delegates from various Asian countries.

The opening ceremony was led by Dr. Rafael Santonja, who highlighted the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council. Also present were Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Department of Tourism Development, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Board of the UAE Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, all of whom enjoyed the spectacular opening show.

During the ceremony, Dr. Santonja presented a special recognition to Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, and together they awarded the first champions of the day.

The rest of the day’s competition followed, with athletes from across the region proudly representing their countries, contributing to a memorable day of sport, excellence, and camaraderie.
