From the paradise island of Barbados, the IFBB Roger Boyce Classic brought together a great number of athletes competing for the prestigious title, in a weekend filled with passion and true sportsmanship.
The event was held at the modern Garfield Sobers Gymnasium, offering comfortable facilities and a high-level show that we all enjoyed.
In addition to the championship, IFBB President Rafael Santonja held a meeting with Ms. Andrea Franklin, Chief Executive Officer of Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc., and Ms. Cheryl Carter, Chief Operating Officer. It was a very fruitful collaboration meeting with the Barbados Tourism Office. In the presence of Mr. Robert Chase, Director of Marketing of the same institution, the agreement was announced during a press conference.
During the ceremony, Dr. Santonja presented awards to distinguished members of the IFBB family, as well as to the Minister of Sports of Barbados, the Honorable Charles Griffith, who was present and enjoyed the event.
