IFBB WORLD FIT MODEL CHAMPIONSHIPS 2020 SUCCESSFULLY HELD IN RIGA

The second IFBB World Fit Model event of this year, the IFBB World Fit Model Championships 2020 took place past October 17th – 19th in Riga, capital city of Latvia, in the fashionable venue site studio69.

It was organized by the Latvian Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation (LBFBF) chaired by Mrs. Christina Vedernikova and with the support of IFBB and Riga City Council sport authorities.

Exciting and very remarkable event of the current year that gathered athletes from nine different countries like Estonia, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Kazakhstan, Lithuanian, Belarus, Finland and Latvia. According to IFBB rules, female athletes were divided into 3 height categories and male athletes into one open class.

It was an amazing event of sport, beauty and friendship; with wonderful trophies, streaming and live tv covering the event, beautiful athletes with stunning stage presentations, and fantastic visual style. All the athletes demonstrated good shape with natural beauty and elegance in the details.

Immediately after the awarding ceremony for the last category, the overall category took place and Samanta Balode from Latvia won her first Overall World Champion title.

WOMEN’S FIT MODEL UP TO 163 cm:
1st place: Samanta Balode (Latvia)
2nd place: Kristina Mickiene (Lithuania)
3rd place: Martyna Pietryszyn (Poland)

WOMEN’S FIT MODEL UP TO 168 cm:
1st place Anastasia Galimova (Russia)
2nd place: Nataliia Popova (Russia)
3rd place: Ana Kiseliova (Lithuania)

WOMEN’S FIT MODEL OVER 168 cm:
1st place: Maryna Polapa (Ukraine)
2nd place: Ilona Balvas -Mnoholietnia (Ukraine)
3rd place: Olga Sibanova (Estonia)

MEN’S FIT MODEL OPEN:
1st place: Ireneusz Janusz Pochwala (Poland)
2nd place: Dariusz Skraba (Poland)
3rd place: Arvids Kirshakmens (Latvia)
