Continuing his visit in Iran, President Santonja visited the Iranian Parliament with the Iranian Federation, holding a meeting with the Congressmen’s, Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Farvardin, Chairman of The Sports Faction of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Dr. Mohammad Rezapour Ebrahimi, Chairman of the Economic Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, and Mr. Ahad Azadikhah, Representative of Malayer City in Parliament, and Chairman of Bodybuilding Committee of Sport Faction, among others.
In the meeting, were discussed issues of international relations, the organization of future events, and other plans, in the most cordial atmosphere, in line with the great care of the Iranian Parliament, for the sport of bodybuilding and fitness as an expression of high performance, and a way of education in the healthy lifestyle.
The visit to Iran’s concluded with a fruitful meeting with the President of the Iranian Federation of University Sports (NUDF), Mr Hadi Bashirian evaluating actions at the national level, and in the Asian continent, following the recognition of the IFBB by FISU and the incorporation of Fitness in the University Sports.
