With a very exciting and gorgeous show, held in Riga, capital city of Latvia, the 1st IFBB World Fit Model Championships took place on recent 19th – 21st of October, organized by the Latvian Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation (LBFBF) chaired by Mrs. Christina Vedernikova.
A total number of 41 athletes from 8 countries (Finland, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia) took part in the Championships. where, according to IFBB rules, athletes were divided into 3 height categories.
The participants were evaluated in four rounds together – semifinals and finals in two rounds. The 1st round was in one-piece tight-fitting swimsuit, the 2nd round was the presentation of the athletes in the evening gowns. The final 3rd and 4th rounds were reserved for the Top 6 with the same sequence of the performance on the stage. The best Fit Model athletes demonstrated the fantastic proportions, stunning stage presentation, good shaped bodies and beautiful visual style.
Elegant swimsuits, sophisticated evening gowns which make an accent on healthy and trained body shape and lines, excellent stage makeup and hairstyles, overall athletes presentation – all of these components in general emphasize the natural beauty of the participants and the attractive, not too muscular tone of the athletic body.
Immediately following the Award Ceremony for the last Fit Model category, the Overall category took place and Anastasiia Liukshinova (Russia) won her first Overall World Champion 2018 title.
