The Dominican Republic Olympic
Committee gave great support to
these IFBB World Championships.
Its former President, Dr. Jose
Joaquín Puello - one of the longest
active executives in the American
Olympic family, was honored
with the IFBB Gold Order for his
continued support for Bodybuilding.
The Dominican Republic Olympic Committee (COLIMDO) President, Mr. Luis Mejia
Oviedo, M.Sc., was honored with the prestigious IFBB Spirit of Sport Award. Always
receptive towards Fitness and ready to promote healthy lifestyle, he received this award
from President Santonja in recognition of his activity.
