him. UAE resident Sayed Mahfouz was
third. In -95 kilos, Mohamed Alagha of

Ahmed Mohamed Habib. In the -100 kilos
class, there was a close duel, the closest of
all the competition, between the Egyptian
Osama Saad Elshahawry and the Iranian
Pourya Mahmoud Kamani; one was big, the
other complete, the Egyptian with an
outstanding back and rear legs, the Iranian
with one of the best conditions of the
weekend; the champion in the end was the
Egyptian, but it could also have been the
other way around. At more than 100 kilos,
Onifade Shefiu Olasunbo, an athlete who
lives in the UAE, came out huge, ripped,
with huge arms and shoulders and with a
slow pose that made you direct your eyes
towards him. Shadi A S Alfar, also a
resident of the UAE, and the Egyptian
Ahmed Salah, completed the podium in
second and third place, respectively.
It was decided not to hand out the
overall title until the PRO event was held, to
which six amateur athletes were invited.
