Francois Carty, president of the Saint Martin Federation has been organizing an International amateur and PRO IFBB Elite championship for first time ever in this caribean island of San Martin. This big success has been celebrated in the Sonesta Hotel in the dutch part of this island (this island has two sides, french Saint Martin and dutch Sint Marteen) with the deal of both island federations. Giovanni Arendzs, IFBB President for this area, has been working hardly in order to place the caribean zone in the world bodybuilding map, an absolute hit in sport. He was pushing hasdly for it , and within 2019 the caribean federations had produced 5 events in PRO and more than 8 in amateur files.
Saint Martin event is a proof that the passion and the hard labour are making great things in our sport in despite of geographical problems and economical matters. More than 20 countries represented in this first edition show the power and attraction of this area when the things are properly made. IFBB continues working to promote our sport all around this planet.
