IFBB President, Dr. Rafael Santonja arrived to Aruba, in order to attend the 1st. Ben Weider Legacy Cup (BWLCA) organized by the Aruba Bodybuilding & Powerlifting Association (ABPA) and its president Giovanni Arendsz.
As recently mentioned, athletes from 20 countries (North, South and Central America; Caribbean and Netherland) are expected in this BWLCA, held in Palm Beach; today Friday 4th, for the registration. Tomorrow, Saturday 5th. will be the competition (BWLCA is an Elite Qualifying event) in Bodybuilding, Men’s Physique, Bodyfitness, Bikini Fitness and Classic Bodybuilding, with the overall winners in such disciplines, as eligible to qualify for the Pro Card.
During his visit to Aruba, President Santonja will take the opportunity to meet Mrs. Nicole Hoevertsz -Aruba IOC Member-, amongst other officials and administrators, boosting the friendly relationships between the Olympic Family and IFBB.
