FEDERATION MEETS
PRESIDENT SANTONJA

l The executive members of the
Portuguese Federation and its new
President Mr. Daniel Morais were in
Madrid to work on their well-known
events, the IFBB Diamond Cup and
also the IFBB Elite Pro World
Championships of Wellness and
Bodybuilding up to 95.
The memory of former President,
and appreciated IFBB Official, Jose
Monteiro, will remain forever within the
Portuguese Federation and the IFBB,
and is a source of inspiration to
continue his work for our sport and
lifestyle in his beloved country, President Rafael Santonja with Mr. Daniel Morais, President of the Portuguese Federation, and
Portugal. other members and officials from the Portuguese Federation.

FEDERATION HELD ITS ANNUAL

EXECUTIVE COUNCIL MEETING! AFBF

l This year the Asian continent had presented an intense program of
international activities and the Exco Members of the Asian Federation of
Fitness and Bodybuilding, leaded by their President, Vitalii Kozukhov,
met with President Santonja to evaluate all of them, and get updated
about the overall international calendar, new resolutions and projects
ahead.
During the meeting was set the place for the IFBB Asian
Championships that was celebrated in the great city of Beirut, Lebanon.
Asia, a continent specially knows for it fitness and healthy life stile has
shows one year more the relevance of our sport in Asia with the
organization of several events along the year.
The 2023 season started in January with a great edition of the IFBB
Mr. Universe Iran and the IFBB Ajman International Championships in
the month of March, following of the IFBB Asian Championships, the IFBB President Rafael Santonja with Vitalii Kuzhkov President
West Asian Championships held in Bahrain, the East Asian of the Asian federation and Ms Ludmila Elgina, Chairwoman
of the AFBF Women’s Commitee.
Championships in Jeju, Korea, and
the IFBB Fitness Challenge World
Championships in October, in
Kyrgyzstan.
Additionally, to the official
championships, the iconic Mr.
Universe have stand out in the
continent, with celebration of
editions in countries such as
Lebanon, Syria, Oman, Saudi
Arabia, India, Abu Dhabi, China…
among many others.
Special attention was paid to the
President Rafael second edition of the IFBB Mr & Ms.
Santonja with World event, that organized for
H.E. Sheikh Amateur and Professional categories,
Abdullah Bin has taken part at the beautiful
Hamad Al
Sharqi, IFBB Emirate of Fujairah. An impressive
Vice-President long-term project that will continue
for Asia. standing out the IFBB Calendar in
the next upcoming years!
