1. I’ve consistently aimed for
improvement over my 26-year
athletic journey, addressing
shortcomings through dedicated
workouts. Despite criticism of
my back muscles, I focused on
working out harder. The 2023 IFBB
World Championships marked a
significant shift, especially in my
workout approach. Despite initial
skepticism, I embraced change,
realizing it’s crucial for progress. The
result was winning the IFBB World
Championships bodybuilding up to
70kg, motivating me to defend the
title this year!
2. If asked to share the inner
strength as the head of a family,
undoubtedly it would be my family.
Having two sons who always believe
that Dad is the best has allowed
me to endure the challenges of
daily rigorous training. They not only
serve as the ongoing motivation for
the remaining years of my athletic
career but also as a significant
driving force in my life. I am always
grateful to my wife, who provides
support and encouragement,
making it possible for me to excel in
all aspects of life.
3. Everyone starts as a beginner. I
was no different, and back then, I
couldn’t even dream of becoming
a world champion. I simply stayed
consistent with the workouts
I loved and didn’t fall into the
temptations or distractions around
me. I worked hard, even for small
steps toward my goals, steadily
progressing. I didn’t settle and
made efforts not to be swayed or
discouraged. I persevered, even if it
meant progressing slowly. There’s
a proverb, ‘A foolish person moves
a mountain.’ I hope each of you
strives for your dreams, giving your
best effort while looking at it, just as
I did.
