IS IT POSSIBLE
TO DEVELOP
MUSCLE MASS
WITHOUT
EXERCIZING?
IT HAS BEEN
DONE
IN MICE
After many years of work, Dr. Bahaa Elgendy and his
colleagues at the University of Washington School of
Medicine in the United States, have created a compound
called SLU-PP-332 that activates all three forms of
estrogen-related receptor proteins, including the one that
seems most interesting, ERRa, which regulates adaptation
to stress produced by exercise. When experimented with
mice, it was found that it increased a type of muscle fibre
resistant to fatigue, and at the same time, it favoured the
resistance capacity of the animals when exercising on a
treadmill adapted for them. So is this the definitive secret to
muscle development? Have we achieved a historic discovery
of universal scope?
