There is no drug that
replaces exercise as a source
of health and vitality: nor is
any advice from a guru who
claims that just by using your
mind you can do it. Exercise is
essential for human beings,
not only through sports,
staying in shape or helping to
lose weight. It is a question of
health, about avoiding and
controlling diseases that
become chronic and kill us little
by little. It is also important to
promote our metabolism and
prevent muscle atrophy and lack
of strength that accompany
aging and serious illnesses from
occurring, and of course to ensure
that physical benefits do not
disappear nor the ability to learn
activities. Is there a drug today
that can imitate these kinds of
effects and be useful for people
who, due to disability, extreme
weakness or other reasons,
including psychological, do not feel
able to exercise regularly or prefer
not to do it?
