South America is moving forward in the sport and the 1st. Elite Pro South America scheduled for the coming next Sunday, September 2nd, in Asuncion, at the “Parque Olímpico Paraguayo”; as the perfect complementary activity for the 44th CSFF-IFBB South American Championships that will take place, from August 30th to September 3rd, in the capital of the country.

The best athletes from all the 13 South American countries affiliated to the CSFF will participate in the main continental event where it will be included the 2018 CSFF General Assembly led by its president, Mr. Juan Paredes and IFBB President, Dr. Rafael Santonja. Completing the wide schedule, CSFF will celebrate an official course for the South American judges from Thursday, 30th August to Saturday, 1st. July.

Organized by the National Federation (APF) chaired by Mr. Víctor Niella, the Elite Pro Championship will distribute $ 25,000 in cash prizes, divided into 5 sports divisions: Bodybuilding, Bikini. Men’s Physique, Wellness and Bodyfitness. The champions of each Division will qualify directly for the World Professional Championships to be held, in November, in Rome and Beijing.

We are immersed in a health international emergency as a consequence of the Covid-19 epidemic.

In this situation, we must follow the applicable national and international regulations and the advice from governments and sanitary authorities.

All this has to be done with positive energy and best spirit, maintaining our focus on the fact that any epidemical situation has expansion, stabilization and reduction periods, and that with adequate care, this nightmare is going to be a bad memory soon.

By all means, the integrity of our athletes, officials, judges and of all who integrate our community is now and always essential. We are a family in sport and life.

We can expect to reach the epidemic peak and a progressive settle down, as is already happening in some of the countries in suffering this situation at first instance.

In conclusion, let’s be confident and keep working as a team, following the decisions from the competent authorities. Some events have been canceled and others are being rescheduled to a new date in which we may be able to celebrate with our athletes and friends our passion for sport and healthy lifestyle.
