             Harrieh City
In the central area of the north coast of the island, we can visit
the ruins of Harrieh. The remains date back to the Seljuk era,
and seemingly that an earthquake destroyed this important site
dedicated to trade between the 10th and 16th centuries. The
remaining walls show that there were buildings with several
floors, a palace and a port. Harireh is one of the attractions of
the island, which was once an important port and connection
between India, China, Europe and Iran.
